The Engineering Institute of Technology, or EIT, is a specialist engineering college headquartered in West Perth. It started as an offshoot of a company that trained working engineers, and that practical streak runs through its bachelor's and master's degrees. EIT admits students on a rolling basis. Apply three to four months before the intake to allow time for the CoE and visa.
The main intakes are February and July.
You'll apply for a subclass 500 Student visa using the CoE from EIT. Have your OSHC policy, financial evidence and Genuine Student answers ready before you start the online form.
Industrial automation, electrical and mechanical engineering are the main programmes. Bachelor's entry needs secondary school with maths and physics. The Master of Engineering needs a related bachelor's degree and IELTS 6.5.
EIT sometimes offers scholarships or tuition reductions for international students. Check the website for the current intake.
