Saskatoon is where Nutrien and Cameco, two of the world's big potash and uranium producers, keep their head offices. Edwards School of Business, the University of Saskatchewan's business faculty, sends a lot of graduates their way. It teaches a four-year Bachelor of Commerce, a one-year MBA and master's programmes in accounting and finance. The campus sits on the east bank of the South Saskatchewan River.

USask's campus has stone buildings on the east bank of the South Saskatchewan River, joined to downtown by several bridges. The riverside Meewasin Trail runs right past.
Saskatoon is small and affordable, with a friendly Broadway Avenue district. Winters are very cold, often below minus 20.

Undergraduate international applications usually close in early spring for September. Graduate programmes set their own deadlines, often in winter, and the MPAcc has its own timeline.
The BComm, MBA and MSc Finance start in September. The Master of Professional Accounting starts in May.
A Canadian study permit. Start with the letter of acceptance from University of Saskatchewan and, where required, the provincial attestation letter, then apply to IRCC online. Allow a few months, as processing times vary by country.
The BComm, MBA, MPAcc and MSc Finance are the main options. BComm needs secondary school grades including maths. Graduate programmes need a bachelor's degree, and the MBA asks for work experience.
USask gives international entrance scholarships to strong undergraduates. Edwards offers awards for graduate students too.
