Geelong is a bayside city an hour from Melbourne with lower rent; Burwood is a leafy Melbourne suburb on the tram line.

Deakin College accepts applications on a rolling basis. Apply at least three months before the start to leave time for the CoE and visa.
Programmes start in March, July and November.
The Student visa, subclass 500. Deakin College issues a Confirmation of Enrolment after you accept and pay the deposit; the application itself needs proof of funds, health cover (OSHC) and a Genuine Student statement.
The foundation programme and diplomas in commerce, engineering and IT are the main options. Entry needs Year 11 or 12 results and IELTS 5.5.
