For fall 2027 undergraduate entry, Early Decision closes 1 November 2026 and Regular Decision closes 2 January 2027. Tuck's MBA runs rounds closing in late September, early January and late March, and Thayer's engineering management and MS programmes close in January and February for September entry.
Undergraduates start in the fall (September) and then follow the D-Plan, choosing which of the four quarters to study each year. Tuck's MBA starts in August, Thayer's engineering programmes and computer science in September, and the health care delivery science master's in July. There is no spring intake.
You need an F-1 student visa. The Office of Visa and Immigration Services issues your Form I-20 after you accept the offer and submit proof of funding. Then pay the SEVIS fee, complete the DS-160 and book an interview at a US embassy or consulate.
The Tuck MBA, engineering management, computer science, engineering sciences and health care delivery science attract the most international graduate applicants. Graduate admission needs a strong bachelor's degree, TOEFL 100 or IELTS 7.0, and the GMAT or GRE for Tuck. Undergraduate admission is highly selective, with an acceptance rate around 6%.
Yes. Dartmouth is need-blind for international undergraduate applicants and meets 100% of demonstrated need with grants rather than loans, so families with lower incomes may pay little or nothing. Tuck offers merit scholarships to MBA students, and Thayer and the graduate school offer fellowships and assistantships.
