Milton sits below the Niagara Escarpment, and Kelso and Rattlesnake Point conservation areas offer hiking and winter skiing a few minutes away. The town centre is small and suburban.
The Milton GO line reaches Union Station in about an hour, though trains run mostly at rush hour. Mississauga's offices and warehouses are close by car.

Conestoga admits on a rolling basis while places remain. Apply six to eight months before your start date for the study permit, and earlier for September.
Milton programmes run September, January and sometimes May intakes. Conestoga has paused some intakes since 2024, so check which ones are open.
You'll need a study permit. Conestoga College sends a letter of acceptance, and most students also need a provincial attestation letter. The permit application goes online to IRCC with proof of funds and biometrics.
Computer applications development and software quality assurance certificates are the main options. They need a diploma or degree, ideally in computing, and IELTS 6.5. Business diplomas need secondary school and IELTS 6.0.
Conestoga has a few small entrance awards for international students. Most students fund full tuition themselves.
