Athens is a tiny town on a ridge in Mercer County, and the campus is most of it. Princeton, with shops and supermarkets, is a short drive away.
The New River Gorge and Pipestem Resort State Park are close for hiking and rafting. A car makes life much easier, as public transport is almost non-existent.

Students start in fall (August) or spring (January).
International students come in on an F-1 visa. The I-20 comes from Concord University after you confirm your place and show you can cover a year of costs; you then pay the SEVIS fee, fill in the DS-160 and book your consulate interview.
Business administration, advertising and graphic design, communication arts, social work and history are popular. Entry needs a secondary school diploma with good grades and IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 61.
Concord has some academic scholarships open to international students. Awards are partial and based on grades, so ask admissions about current amounts.
