Chatham's main campus is a former estate on Woodland Road in Pittsburgh's Shadyside neighbourhood, with old mansions now used as residence halls. Founded in 1869 as a women's college, it now admits all students and is best known for health sciences, sustainability and creative writing. Rachel Carson, author of Silent Spring, studied here. A second campus, Eden Hall, north of the city, houses the Falk School of Sustainability and Environment.

Chatham reviews undergraduate applications on a rolling basis. Health science graduate programmes use CASPA or OTCAS with fixed deadlines, often in the autumn or winter before entry.
Most programmes start in the fall. Some graduate programmes start in January or summer.
You'll need an F-1 visa. Once you accept your offer and send proof of funding, Chatham University issues the Form I-20. After that it's the SEVIS fee, the DS-160 form and an interview at a US embassy or consulate.
Physician assistant studies, occupational therapy, sustainability, creative writing and nursing are popular. Health programmes need prerequisites and strong English; other graduate programmes need a bachelor's degree and about IELTS 6.5.
Yes. Chatham offers merit scholarships to most undergraduates, including international students. Graduate awards are limited.
