Chapman's campus runs along Glassell Street, a few blocks from the Old Towne Orange plaza with its antique shops and cafes. The private university was founded in 1861 and has grown quickly in recent decades. Its Dodge College of Film and Media Arts is one of the best-known film schools on the West Coast. Business, computer science, data science, psychology and law are also large, and Los Angeles is about 45 minutes north.
