On the West Bank of the Mississippi in Minneapolis, the Carlson School is the business school of the University of Minnesota. The Twin Cities host an unusual number of big company headquarters, including Target, Best Buy, General Mills, 3M and UnitedHealth Group, and Carlson's recruiting reflects that. Its Master of Human Resources and Industrial Relations is one of the oldest programmes of its kind. The MBA and specialised master's degrees in analytics, finance and supply chain draw international students.
