Canadore College sits in North Bay, a lake town about three and a half hours north of Toronto. Its aviation campus at the city airport runs one of the bigger aircraft maintenance programmes in Canada, and the college also teaches health, business, esthetics and environmental technology. Some international students study instead at partner campuses in the Toronto area, which follow different work-permit rules, so it pays to check which campus a programme runs on.

Aircraft maintenance, practical nursing, business and health informatics draw the most international students. Diplomas need high school completion and IELTS 6.0; graduate certificates need a degree or diploma and IELTS 6.5.
There are a small number of entrance awards for international students. The college's awards page lists what's open each intake.
