High Wycombe sits in the Chiltern Hills, about half an hour from London Marylebone by train, and that is where Buckinghamshire New University has its main campus. Nursing and healthcare are taught mostly at the Uxbridge campus in west London. Beyond health, the university is known for aviation, policing, film and business courses with a practical slant.

Most courses take applications all year. For September, international applicants should aim to apply by June so there is time for the CAS and visa. Nursing places fill earlier, so apply through UCAS by the January deadline if you can.
September is the main start. Several postgraduate courses, including the MBA, also take students in January.
A UK Student visa, sponsored by Buckinghamshire New University. Once you hold a CAS, apply online, show funds held for 28 days, and pay the Immigration Health Surcharge. Most decisions come back within three weeks from outside the UK.
Nursing, aviation management, film and TV production, the MBA and project management draw many international students. Undergraduates need recognised school results and IELTS 6.0; master's courses ask for a bachelor's degree and IELTS 6.5. Nursing needs IELTS 7.0 overall.
BNU has offered international scholarships as fee reductions for self-funded students. Amounts change from year to year, so check the fees and funding pages before you accept an offer.
