Bryant started in Providence in 1863 as a business college and later moved out to a wooded campus in Smithfield, Rhode Island, about 15 minutes north-west of the city. Business is still the core, with finance, accounting and actuarial mathematics at the centre, though it has added health sciences and a physician assistant programme. Classes are small. Recruiters in Boston and Providence know the place well.

The campus is set among woods and ponds off Route 7, with residence halls, sports fields and the Archway at its centre. Fidelity Investments has a big office campus just down the road.
Providence, with its restaurants on Federal Hill and trains to Boston, is about 15 minutes away. Buses are infrequent, so a car or a friend with one helps.

Bryant offers early decision and early action in the autumn, with a regular deadline in the winter. Graduate programmes review applications on a rolling basis. International students should apply early to leave time for the I-20.
Undergraduates start in August. Some graduate programmes also admit in January.
You'll need an F-1 visa. Once you accept your offer and send proof of funding, Bryant University issues the Form I-20. After that it's the SEVIS fee, the DS-160 form and an interview at a US embassy or consulate.
Finance, accounting, actuarial mathematics, data science and business analytics are popular. Undergraduates need strong school results and TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.5. The business analytics master's needs a bachelor's degree, ideally with some quantitative work.
Bryant gives merit scholarships to strong undergraduate applicants, international students included. Graduate students may receive partial scholarships at admission.
