Thomas Bayes, the statistician the school is now named after, is buried in Bunhill Fields, a short walk from its main building on Bunhill Row. Until 2021 this was Cass Business School. It's the business school of City St George's, University of London, and it sits on the edge of the City, so finance, actuarial science and real estate are its strongest subjects. Master's classes are largely international.

The main building faces Bunhill Fields, with Old Street station a few minutes away and the Barbican and Moorgate just south. The tech firms around Silicon Roundabout are on the doorstep.
Rents in zones 1 and 2 are high, so plenty of students live further out on the Northern line or the Overground. Clerkenwell's side streets, full of cafés, make the walk to class easier.

Undergraduates apply through UCAS by 14 January 2027. MSc programmes admit in rounds from autumn to spring, and popular courses such as finance fill early, so apply before Christmas if you can. A deposit holds your place.
Nearly all programmes start in September, including the full-time MBA.
You'll apply for a Student visa. City St George's, University of London gives you a CAS number once your offer is unconditional and the deposit is paid. You can then apply online up to six months before the course starts, with bank evidence and the Immigration Health Surcharge.
Finance, actuarial science, business analytics and real estate are the most popular master's. They ask for a good bachelor's degree, often with quantitative content, and IELTS 6.5 to 7.0. Undergraduates need strong A-level or equivalent grades, with maths for the finance courses.
Bayes offers merit scholarships for MSc and MBA applicants, usually as partial fee reductions, and some are aimed at particular countries. Scholarship rounds follow the admission rounds, so applying early helps.
