The study centre is a city teaching space with no residences, so students rent rooms privately or in student housing. The U-Bahn and S-Bahn cover the whole city.
Berlin is large and relaxed, with parks, lakes and a strong start-up scene. Rent has risen sharply, so start the room search well before you arrive.
Admission letter from Arden University
Blocked account for living costs
German-recognised health insurance
APS certificate for applicants from India
English test at required level
Valid passport and national visa form
Arden admits on a rolling basis. Apply at least three months before your start date, and allow extra time for the German embassy appointment and blocked account.
Most programmes in Berlin start in January, May and September. Confirm exact dates with Arden.
A German national student visa. Book the embassy appointment early (waits can be long), and bring your admission letter, a blocked account covering a year of living costs, health insurance and, if you studied in India, the APS certificate.
Business management, computing, the MBA and international business management are the main programmes. Undergraduates need secondary school and IELTS 6.0; master's applicants need a bachelor's degree and IELTS 6.5.
Arden offers some scholarships and discounts for Berlin students. Ask admissions for current offers.
