Perth is a stone-built town on the Tay River, about an hour south-west of Ottawa. Algonquin College's campus here is small and known for heritage trades, where students learn traditional carpentry and masonry used to restore old buildings. It also runs a few general programmes for the region. International places are limited, so confirm availability before applying.

Most Perth programmes start in September.
You'll need a study permit. Algonquin College sends a letter of acceptance, and most students also need a provincial attestation letter. The permit application goes online to IRCC with proof of funds and biometrics.
Heritage carpentry and joinery, heritage masonry, carpentry and renovation and personal support work are the main programmes. Entry needs a secondary school diploma and IELTS 6.0.
Algonquin has a small number of international entrance awards. Check the awards page for your programme.
