Albion College has been teaching in the same small Michigan town since 1835, where two branches of the Kalamazoo River meet. It's a private liberal arts college of about 1,500 students. The Gerald R. Ford Institute for public policy is a big draw, and there's a 140-acre nature centre and an equestrian centre. Nearly everyone lives on campus.

Albion reviews applications on a rolling basis, with early action in the autumn. International students should apply by spring for August entry.
Most students start in August. A small number start in January.
It's the F-1 student visa. Get your I-20 from Albion College first (they need your deposit and bank documents), then pay the SEVIS fee, complete the DS-160 and attend the visa interview. Book the interview early in peak season.
Economics and management, biology, political science and psychology are popular. Admission looks at secondary school grades and English at TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.5.
Albion gives merit scholarships to nearly all admitted students, including international students, and these cut the listed tuition a lot.
